"What makes this bowl so special is how stable it is. I had rough turned it and let it dry, then I turned the outside. When I began to turn the inside, it flew off the lathe which caused several dents and which meant that I'd have to return it. This happens after a few choice words, I re-turned the outside. The good thing was that it only dented, so I knew that I was working with some very stable wood. This bowl will be a very nice center piece for any table, holding anything from fruit to nuts to salad. It will continue to turn a deep rosy red over time.
This bowl will develop a patina over the years. This speaks of the many hands that have held it. I hope that this bowl will be passed down through many generations."
